Corned Beef for a St. Patty's
Day Feast


Mix the brine ingredients and bring to a boil. Turn off heat and cool, place in the fridge until very well chilled.

Place the brisket into a large container and cover fully with the brine. Chill for 5-7 days, flipping once daily to ensure the brisket is cured evenly. 

Once the curing period is over, rinse your brisket and add to a pot with about an inch of water or your favorite beer (ginger beer also works). Add a tablespoon of pickling spices, and let it come to a boil. Reduce the heat to a very low simmer and leave the brisket to cook for 3-4 hours.

​Add veggies if desired 45min to hour before removing from heat.

​When the brisket is tender enough to cut with a fork, it's done and ready to enjoy!

  • 1 gallon water
  • 11oz Kosher salt
  • 4 tablespoons pickling spices
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 stick of cinnamon
