Who We Are

Liberty Orchard is a family-owned, pick your own orchard located in beautiful Brookfield, Vermont. We specialize in Liberty and seven other disease-resistant varieties of applies. While not organic, these new varieties allow us to significantly reduce the use of agricultural chemicals. Additionally, we follow Integrated Pest Management (IPM) standards which ensures that we monitor pest pressure throughout the season, only treating when pressure reaches a certain threshold reducing our dependance on agricultural chemicals. Our trees are dwarf sized making them easily accessible for small children and families! Come enjoy a snack on our picnic tables with a view in the middle of the orchard and check out our farmstand offerings before you go!

What We Offer

Apple Picking

From September through the end of October each year, our orchard is open so you can pick your own bags of apples or take advantage of our pre-picked bags at the farm stand.

Farm Goods

We offer a variety of other goods at our farm stand. Depending on availability, we have Stargrazer Farm meat products and sheep skins, as well as maple syrup, honey from our orchard bees, Fat Toad caramel, and other local goodies.

Group Tours

We offer group tours that are great for school groups and larger gatherings! If you are interested in scheduling one, please contact us using the contact info at the bottom of this page.

1. Cash, credit, or checks accepted
2. Bags available for purchase for your picking pleasure!
3. ​We participate in the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Vermont's Apple Days. Present your voucher when you come to pick.
4. Different varieties from the VTC orchard will be available pre-picked for purchase in the farmstand. For the most current updates on the picking season, you can visit us on Facebook or this website.
5. Honeycrisps are available pre-picked in the farmstand only.​

Directions from the North

• Take Exit 5 from Interstate 89. 
  
• Turn left toward Williamstown and pass under the Interstate.  
  
• Turn Right on Stone Road (first road on the right after the Interstate). 
  
• Continue on Stone Road for 5 miles, pass by the Floating Bridge. 
  
• At the PondVillage Church bear right on to Ridge Road. 
  
• Continue 1 mile to Crossover Road – Turn right and continue to West Street.  
  
• Liberty Orchard is on the corner of Crossover Road and West Street.

Directions from the South

• Take Exit 4 from Interstate 89. 
  
• Turn right toward Randolph Center.  At the top of the hill turn left. 
  
• In approximately .5 mile turn left on to Ridge Road. 
  
• Continue for 5 miles to Crossover Road. 
  
• Turn left and continue to West Street.  
  
• Liberty Orchard is on the corner of Crossover Road and West Street.
